It’s a tough call to make when it comes to the internet and pictures of your child. After discussing it many times with my husband, we felt that he and I would be more comfortable if nothing was posted on our part (and that extends to our friends and family). We’re making that call for her, mainly. My pregnancy was publicized beyond my control, and that’s to be expected. I mean, I was attending events and touring until I was 8 months in it. It’s sort of hard to hide. I talked freely about it because it concerned me, but now her life being her own, it’s not up to me to decide if I want to show her to the rest of the world. I feel like it could really bother her in the future if I did end up doing that.
I hope you all understand. I would love to post pictures of my baby all the time (seriously, that’s all my phone’s filled up with) because she’s the bomb and I love her more than anything…but I’d like to avoid the possible situation of her finding pictures of herself as a newborn on Google in a near future.
